About NCL Members
The National Coalition for Literacy impacts legislation and public policy on adult education, family literacy, and English language acquisition for adults. Through consensus, Coalition members unite to form NCL positions on legislative issues, creating a national, unified voice in advocating for adult education and literacy.
Additionally, many NCL members have their own policy positions on issues that address their constituents’ unique interests and concerns. Public policy positions of NCL members may differ from NCL positions, or some NCL members may have spoken out in greater depth on specific issues.
